2018 Concessions

Chocolate Covered Bananas
A chocolate-y treat with a healthy middle, chocolate covered bananas come with many possible toppings and are a cool frozen bite on the hot days. Frozen fruit bars and real fruit smoothies, too!

Family Affair Catering
A multi-generational family business serving hand battered Fish and Chips, cooked fresh to order to ensure the highest quality.

Fantasia Italiana (Family Area)
Bueno! Gelato, cappuccino, granita, Caesar salads and pasta. One of the spots for your caffeine fix—try an affogato! Mama mia!

Fat Franks (Beer Garden)
A true Edmonton classic—get your dogs and smokies to go with your cold beer in the beer garden.

Filistix (West End)
Eclectic menu items and signature favourites: slaw, green onions cakes, lentil curry, minced pork and pineapple. Also melon, ginger, and mint infused water to quench your thirst!

Frida Antojitos Mexicanos (West End)
With family recipes directly from Mexico, and named after famous painter Frida Kahlo, Frida Antojitos Mexicanos brings healthy and delicious street food you’ll crave.

Govinda's Veggie Bomb
Govinda's Veggie Bomb is 100% vegan and gluten free. Enjoy a nutritious rice bowl, or snack on a battered potato Bomb Fries with house made ketchup.

Hoang Long Casual Fare
Flavours of lemongrass and papaya feature on this Vietnam inspired menu. Skewers and Banh Mi sandwiches and don’t forget the decadent Vietnamese coffee.

It Takes Two to Taco (West end)
Need tacos? From the folks who brought you Filistix comes this new Mexican-style street food booth.

Jackie O’s (Top of Hill)
New to the festival and worth the climb up the hill. Jackie O’s features gourmet mini donuts in in flavours like maple bacon, apple delight and “death by donut.” Hot and cold drinks available as well.

Langano Skies Ethiopian Restaurant
Ethiopian food with a spicy kick. Wash it down with a cool mango shake.

Little O’s
This is a festival classic. Whether you’re an elephant ear or mini donut type, it can all be found at Little O’s. This is also a great spot for breakfast, as they serve up oatmeal, breakfast wraps and toast.

Lunchpail Catering

Come for some grilled cheese strips with gooey cheddar and Monterey jack cheeses and house-made chips. There’s also as a variety of grilled meat sticks, soups and salads. Coconut limeade or Earl Grey iced tea rounds out your meal.

Mediterranean BBQ
Fill up on grilled chicken or Merguez sausage pita, grilled veggie pita, dolmades, paella and combo plates.

Native Delights
Did somebody say bannock? Burgers, both beef and buffalo on bannock buns.

The Crazy Italian (West End)
The Crazy Italian brings hot and delicious Italian sausages, meatball sandwiches, and fresh italian sodas to the west end of the fest.

An organic vegetarian eatery and superfood elixir bar. Noorish’s menu includes a variety of organic, local, raw, vegan and gluten‐free options bursting with flavour and nutrition.

Numchok Wilai
Classic Thai dishes like pad thai, green curry—chicken and tofu and combo plates with veggie spring rolls.

Original Canadian Kettle Korn (Beer Garden)
Sweet and salty popcorn to curb any craving.

Padmanadi Vegetarian Restaurant
Padmanadi serves up delicious vegan versions of ginger beef, chicken curry, lemon prawns as well as spring rolls and the Indonesian salad, gado gado. An Edmonton favourite that even meat eaters adore!

Perogy Palace
Food that would make your Baba proud. Perogies, kubasa, and cabbage rolls plus a crunchy giant kosher dill pickle to top it off.

The Popcorn Place (Top of hill)
Your top of the hill headquarters for buttery movie theatre-style popcorn, sno cones and many other carnival treats.

Punky Potato
The festival spot for all things “pub food” – burgers, fries – plain or with fixins, sweet potato, or classic thick cut; hot dogs, appetizer platters and then for your sweet tooth – deep fried chocolate bars and oreos.

Royal Ice Cream Treats
Scooped ice cream and yogurt and every ice cream novelty you can imagine. Get your brain freeze here in the yummiest way possible.

Soner Donair and Kebab
Get your donair fix here—in standard form or as poutine or a salad. Dolma, spinach pie, shish kebabs round out your meal.

Summit Hut/Kick Ass Coffee
Summit Hut will take care of all your caffeine needs. Espresso, cappuccino, lattes and mochas… or even just a regular coffee. They have baked goods to go along with your drinks. A good morning stop.

Taste of Mongolia/#YEG Green Onion Cakes
The classic green onion cake spot. It wouldn’t be the Folk Fest without this on the menu. Also serving spring rolls, dumplings, ginger beef, lemon chicken and chow mein.

Whistler Wood Fired Pizza
Did somebody say pizza? Nine varieties of wood fired oven baked pizza in slice, personal pizza and large forms! A great meal for sharing back on your tarp.

Caricatures by Susanne
Here’s your chance to become a cartoon! Leduc, Alberta based artist Susanne Richie has been drawing faces ever since she could pick up a pen. She says “ask me what I can doodle for you!” – Area 4 Marketplace

Dahlia Drive
Dahlia Drive tells stories on recycled materials, sewing curtain sheers into canvases upon which to paint and print art for the female form.

All hats are made by Nathan Dueck in Winnipeg MB, using recycled fabrics. Used ice cream pails are salvaged to provide the stiffener in the visors. Made with care and uniquely numbered since hat #0001.
