In Memoriam

We were deeply saddened about the news of Terry Prince’s passing last month, and want to extend our heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends.

Terry volunteered on the Site Crew for many years. He was an excellent board member, including serving as Chair of the Board. As our Production Manager Don Snider battled against a terminal illness, Terry stepped in with great sensitivity to serve in that role as well. We are eternally grateful for his contributions to the festival.

Live at the Winspear and JCL Productions present Bahamas: The Bootcut Tour – Winspear Centre, Tuesday April 23 at 8pm.

The Canadian indie-rock artist returns to the Winspear Centre for the first time since 2021. The JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter, born Afie Jurvanen, released his sixth album in the fall of 2023. The new album is a departure from the artist’s usual style – instead of indie rock, it’s a set of country ballads inspired by artists such as Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Sturgill Simpson. What hasn’t changed is the artist’s ability to write a song that tugs on the heartstrings while making you ponder life.
