Forever Folk Fest
The Edmonton Folk Music Festival Society Fund is an important part of the Edmonton Folk Festival's long-term financial stability plan. This fund is used to help keep ticket prices accessible for all patrons in times of rising costs, especially for world-calibre artists. The Fund provides an opportunity for patrons of fine folk music to ensure this style of music continues forever in the Edmonton region. The Folk Festival also contributes surplus funds yearly and all proceeds from candle sales during the Festival to grow the Fund.
The Endowment Fund—All funds donated to the Fund are entrusted to the Edmonton Community Foundation for investment. The Folk Festival receives an annual income of 3.5% per year forever.
